1. Procurement
All new enquiries will be expediently triaged to interpret and assess the client and their proposed procurement route options. We encourage early engagement with clients, designers and other stakeholders to bring quality procurement options and ideas to the table from very early on in the process.
2. Estimating & Tendering
Once we accept a tendering or quoting opportunity, we fully commit to it. We thoroughly interpret and clarify the proposals and are as explicit and specific as possible over what we have and have not included within our price. We are consistent with our rates and approach to pricing that is always project specific. We pride ourselves on submitting a high quality and well-presented tender/quote return.
3. Pre-Construction Communication
We develop detailed construction programmes, risk assessments and method statements. We refresh and refine our priced schedule of works, reaching out to key specialists and/ or suppliers that could benefit from early engagement, like items on long lead times etc. A pre contract meeting is arranged with key stakeholders to iron out the granular details of the project, including timeframes, start dates, access, contract details etc.
4. Construction Phase & Site Management
Quality contracts management ensures we successfully deliver the construction phase, safely & securely. We vet all construction contractors, staff & operatives, ensuring the right people* are delivering the correct standards of work, using the right methods, within the correct timeframes. We appreciate the importance of quality site supervision. We pride ourselves on regular, open communication. * Ensuring we use the right people through due-diligence and 'SKATE' checks, that stands for: Skills, Knowledge, Accreditations, Training & Experience. We are only as good as the men and women on site who are completing the tasks at hand. This understanding is why we are so selective over who works on your project.
5. Finishes & Handover Procedures
Even before we start works, we prepare for the finish line and a quality handover strategy is agreed. During the pre-contract meeting we will offer bespoke handover options that will be specific to the project and contract used. We work closely with stakeholders to ensure this process is managed efficiently. We ensure our handover documentation is issued promptly and to a very high standard.
